The Office of Community Education (OCE) functions as a division within The Center for Community-Based Partnerships under the direction of Community Affairs. Working alongside The Office of Community Development and the Office of Research and Policy, the OCE evaluates, reports, and provides technical assistance to K-12 extended-day programs and community education activities throughout the state. Additionally, the OCE is developing a Future Teachers outreach program and a framework in which to build a capacity for deliberative decision-making within its own operations and within the communities the OCE works.
